Our League City Pharmacy team delivers comprehensive and high-quality medication distribution services across the hospital. We manage all aspects of inpatient drug delivery - including unit dose dispensing, IV admixture preparation, and specialized systems for controlled substances and investigational drugs.
We leverage advanced automation and robotic dispensing technology to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety in every step of the process.
The ideal candidate will possess a High School Diploma and hold a current Pharmacy Technician Registration. In addition, candidates should have at least three (3) years of experience in an Inpatient pharmacy setting, including Pharmacy experience in training staff and experience in a leadership role.
Working Hours: This position will be an evening shift 7:00am - 3:30p
The primary purpose of the Advanced Pharmacy Technician position is to maintain an area of expertise providing technical assistance and structure through training of the technical staff, conducting area audits, inventory management, providing input and implementing process improvements, and to assist with functions related to the dispensing, compounding, and delivery of medication and equipment from pharmacy.
