Your future role at a glance:

Location: Pensacola, FL

Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Oncology Group

Schedule: Days | Full-time | Monday - Friday

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Preparing orders, managing inventory levels for the department, and efficiently receiving and storing incoming supplies.
  • Apply meticulous attention to detail while preparing sterile and non-sterile compounds and repackaging bulk medications for dispensing.
  • Ensure the reliable operation of our automated dispensing systems by expertly refilling and maintaining them.
  • Serve as a vital communication link—triage incoming calls, provide essential information, and act as a professional liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • IV chemotherapy compounding experience.
