Advanced Composites Fabrication Technician
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Valdosta, GA to add hands-on technicians who craft precision composite parts to exacting engineering, quality, and safety standards. If you thrive on detail, teamwork, and building things the right way, this role is for you.
A day in the life
At 7:00 a.m., you suit up with PPE, review your work orders, and prepare molds with careful, multi-step chemical treatments. You cut and kit fiberglass, stage resins and hardeners, and set up fixtures and hand tools—rollers, torque drivers, and more. Mid-morning, you vacuum-bag and run resin infusion, recording precise data and completing ISPC (In-Station Process Control) logs. Throughout the shift, you inspect parts in process, flag any deviations, and partner with teammates to resolve equipment or material issues. Before wrap-up, you contribute ideas in a team huddle—often tied to new product launches or process improvements—then clean, organize, and secure components and finished parts to prevent damage.
