This role requires onsite days on our Lincoln, RI corporate campus.

Position Summary:
The Advanced Analytics Manager will launch and lead Amica's Analytics Development Program, designed to attract, develop, and mentor top analytics talent and build a scalable enterprise pipeline. This role will build the program from the ground up-designing the rotational experience, driving end-to-end execution, and partnering with colleges and internal business units to deliver meaningful business value.
In close partnership with the Strategic Analytics AVP and Chief Data Officer, the Advanced Analytics Manager will also lead enterprise analytics enablement, owning activities such as analytics town halls, hack‑a‑thons, learning modules and micro‑courses, and best‑practice sharing to elevate analytics capability and adoption across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a strong program and people leader who brings structure and execution discipline, accelerates early‑career talent through hands‑on coaching and feedback, and has the technical credibility to review analytic work and guide junior team members. They combine strong business acumen (insurance experience preferred) with an analytics mindset focused on driving decisions and outcomes, not just producing information.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related field.
9+ years of experience in analytics (preferably within insurance or financial services).
Hands‑on experience with analytics tools and coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python), including responsibility for reviewing analytic work and coaching junior team members on quality, rigor, and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear, actionable insights; adept at challenging assumptions, asking the right questions, and elevating team output through coaching.
People leadership experience with a focus on leading and developing early‑career talent through mentoring, structured feedback, and performance assessment as applicable.
Strong business acumen with a proven ability to translate analytics into decisions and measurable outcomes.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with comfort presenting to large groups and engaging senior leaders.
Proven ability to design, launch, and execute complex, multi‑stakeholder programs with enterprise visibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in insurance analytics
Experience leading or contributing to enterprise analytics enablement initiatives (e.g., analytics training, communities of practice, learning programs, or capability building).
Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy).
Experience guiding or overseeing predictive modeling or advanced analytics, with the ability to help others apply appropriate techniques and interpret results.
Experience partnering closely with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
Active user of AI and analytics tools to improve efficiency, learning, and analytic exploration (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT).
Background working with interns, or rotational program participants.
