Primary Purpose:
Serve as building consultant for gifted and talented and Advanced Academic coursework and programs.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Texas secondary certified teaching certificate
Minimum of 30 Gifted and Talented Education hour (6-Nature and Needs, 6-Identification and Assessment, 18-curriculum Differentiation)
GT endorsement or passing score on GT supplemental certification test
Master's degree in Administration or Counseling recommended
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong communication, public relations and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of secondary gifted and talented curriculum
Experience:
Three years of successful experience as a classroom teacher. AP course instructor experience recommended.
Salary : Teacher / 10 Months
