The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to Use Nutrition Care Process to assess, evaluate, and provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for adult and geriatric inpatients and outpatients. Teaches dietetic students. Participates in multidisciplinary teams and develops nutritional components of care. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's status according to age.

Salary: $57,000 - Commensurate

A master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates registered prior to January 1, 2024, a bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
Licensure by the State of Iowa is required.
Registration by the Commission of Dietetic Registration is required.
Excellent written and communication skills are required.
Dietitian II Minimum Eligibility Requirements
A masters degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
Licensure by the State of Iowa is required.
Reasonable (3-5 years) clinical nutrition experience is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in making enteral and parental recommendations and selecting appropriate formulas
Demonstrated competency of patient care in adult and geriatric populations across a wide range of medical conditions in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
