Seeking a qualified Adult Education[Reading] Instructor to teach adult students (22+) in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include teaching diverse classes such as science, ELA, math, and technology, supporting Edmentum programs, integrating technology, administering assessments, and analyzing student data.
Candidates should demonstrate strong subject matter knowledge, effective instruction, cultural proficiency, and professional collaboration skills.
- Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, valid Massachusetts teaching license in Adult Basic Education and/or Reading, and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Preferred qualifications include urban teaching experience, additional certifications, and fluency in languages such as Spanish, Creole, Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, or Somali.
The position offers a flexible schedule, working approximately 6 hours 40 minutes daily, with benefits and competitive pay.
