Job Details

We are seeking a full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Adult Echo) Instructor to join our Imaging Sciences team in the Atlanta, GA area. This position is ideal for a team-oriented sonography professional who is passionate about education, clinical excellence, and student development.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver instruction in Diagnostic Medical Sonography coursework with a focus on Adult Echocardiography
Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate academic records
Support students in achieving required clinical and technical competencies
Assist in the development and expansion of clinical affiliation sites
Contribute to curriculum development, academic advising, and program improvement initiatives
Promote quality patient care principles and professional best practices
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical partners and community stakeholders
Participate in departmental, institutional, and accreditation-related activities
Perform additional duties as assigned by program leadership
Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Sonography or a related field

Certifications

ARDMS or ARRT certification in Sonography in good standing
ARDMS Adult Echocardiography (AE) credential

Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Additional ARDMS credentials in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN, Breast (BR), and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Previous teaching experience in a JRC-DMS accredited program
Experience with clinical supervision, student evaluation, curriculum development, and academic advising
Familiarity with learning management systems such as Canvas or Blackboard
