    ADSY Coordinator - Ignite

    Wage/Hour Status: Part Time

    Reports To: Superintendent or Designee

    Dept./School: Ignite Community Schools

    Days Worked: Three (3) Days Per Week

    Primary Purpose

    The ADSY Coordinator will support the implementation, coordination, compliance, and operational management of the Additional Days School Year (ADSY) program for Ignite Community Schools. The coordinator will work collaboratively with campus and district leadership to ensure ADSY programming aligns with Texas Education Agency requirements, district expectations, and Ignite Community Schools' mission of academic excellence and scholar success.

    Qualifications

    Education/Certification:

    High School Diploma Required

    Special Knowledge/Skills:

    Knowledge of Texas public or charter school systems preferred

    Knowledge of TEA ADSY requirements and compliance expectations preferred

    Strong organizational and communication skills

    Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

    Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

    Proficiency in Google Workspace and student information systems

    Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

    Experience:

    Experience in K-12 education, extended learning programs, school operations, or related field preferred

    Major Responsibilities and Duties

    Program Coordination:

    Coordinate and support ADSY programming at assigned campus(es)

    Assist with ADSY scheduling, scholar enrollment, and daily operations

    Support implementation of intervention, enrichment, and instructional activities

    Monitor daily program effectiveness and operational needs

    Compliance and Documentation:

    Maintain accurate ADSY attendance and participation records

    Ensure compliance with TEA ADSY operational requirements

    Assist with collection and organization of PEIMS-related documentation

    Collaborate with district leadership regarding funding and compliance requirements

    Staff Support:

    Assist with onboarding and communication for ADSY staff members

    Provide logistical and operational support during ADSY instructional periods

    Support campus leadership with program implementation and monitoring

    Family and Community Engagement:

    Communicate ADSY schedules, expectations, and opportunities with families

    Support scholar recruitment and participation efforts

    Respond professionally to parent and community inquiries

    Data and Reporting

    Assist with tracking scholar attendance and academic participation data

    Prepare reports and summaries related to ADSY programming

    Support continuous improvement efforts through data collection and analysis

    Supervisory Responsibilities- None

    Tools/Equipment Used:

    Standard office equipment including computer, printer, and copier

    Posture: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching

    Motion: Frequent use of hands and repetitive motions

    Environment: Work performed in campus and office settings with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions

    Mental Demands:

    Maintain emotional control under stress

    Work with frequent interruptions

    Meet established deadlines and compliance requirements
