Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Admissions Specialist:
- Provide Contact Center-based support via phone, email, fax, and web to facilitate placement requests for patients choosing our client's dialysis services
- Utilize tools and resources associated with our client's Guest Services to facilitate patient placement
- Contribute to the knowledge databases of our client's Guest Services
- Adhere to and contribute process improvement ideas to the team
- Build and establish strong relationships with hospitals through excellent service delivery
Required Skills for Admissions Specialist:
- Ability and willingness to learn required programs
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients and teammates
- Excellent customer relationship and inter-company network building skills
- Ability to empathize with patients, their family members, caregivers, customers, and teammates under stressful circumstances while remaining focused on business goals
