ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Organizes, plans, and executes strategic enrollment management plans with program chairs and academic leadership. Builds target budget to grow applications and enrollments.
Researches, determines, plans, implements and conducts on and off-campus recruitment with high schools, colleges, and healthcare facilities within assigned territory.
Counsels prospective students and applicants regarding College admissions’ policies and procedures, program admission requirements and procedures, and prerequisite course requirements and equivalences.
Collaborates with academic advisors to ensure student success from inquiry to graduation
Identifies and evaluates opportunities for program expansion through regional and national partnerships. . Supports the Financial Aid Office by providing information about options and resources for funding.
Identifies areas for continuous improvement to curriculum, admissions standards, transferability of credit, process improvement, and pricing structure. Provides recommendations and enhancements to management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree.
Valid and current Iowa driver’s license.
Ability to work weekends and evenings.
Ability to travel overnight.
Strong interpersonal, oral, written and presentation communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Two years’ experience in admissions, higher education, or a healthcare environment preferred.
