This is a fast-paced, high-volume role where your ability to communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and move processes forward with urgency and care will directly impact access to treatment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring each inquiry is handled promptly, professionally, and with attention to detail.

  • Conduct initial screenings and collect demographic, clinical, and insurance information
  • Guide individuals and families through the admissions process with clarity, empathy, and urgency
  • Coordinate admissions flow and communicate updates with internal clinical and operational teams
  • Verify insurance benefits and accurately document all interactions in internal systems
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with inquiries to support timely admissions decisions
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Deliver a high level of service that supports a smooth and positive admissions experience

Qualifications
  • Required: Prior experience in admissions, intake, behavioral health, healthcare, or customer service
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a level 2 background check: HB531 | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience with EMR systems (KIPU) and Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where responsiveness and accuracy matter. They are able to balance empathy with efficiency, stay organized under pressure, and keep admissions moving forward while ensuring each interaction is handled with care and professionalism.
