Position Overview

A Director of Admissions leads the school’s enrollment efforts through strategic recruitment, relationship-building, and enrollment management. The Director of Admissions serves as the primary ambassador for Regina High School to prospective students, families, feeder schools, and community partners, while developing and implementing strategies to support the school’s enrollment goals.

Working closely with the President, Principal, and leadership team, the Director of Admissions is responsible for guiding prospective families through the admissions process, cultivating relationships throughout the community, and ensuring an exceptional experience from inquiry through enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Enrollment Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enrollment strategy aligned with Regina’s mission and long-term enrollment goals.
  • Establish annual enrollment targets and implement strategies to achieve or exceed those goals.
  • Analyze enrollment trends, demographic data, feeder school performance, and market conditions to inform recruitment efforts.
  • Monitor admissions funnel metrics, including inquiries, applications, acceptances, registrations, and yield rates.
  • Provide regular enrollment reports and projections to school leadership.
  • Collaborate with school leadership on strategic initiatives related to enrollment growth and retention.

 

Recruitment, Outreach, and Relationship Building

  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families.
  • Build meaningful relationships & families through the admissions process.
  • Conduct individual family tours and admissions meetings.
  • Coordinate and oversee student shadow day experiences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with feeder school principals, counselors, teachers, and admissions personnel.
  • Represent Regina High School at community events, parish functions, school visits, educational fairs, and recruitment activities.
  • Identify and cultivate new recruitment opportunities within the surrounding community.

 

Admissions Events and Programs

 

Lead the planning and execution of all admissions-related events, including:

  • Fall & Spring Open House, Regina Rush, High School Placement Test Workshops, High School Placement Testing, Department Placement Testing, Accepted Student Celebrations, Formal Registration Programs, Orientation Programs, Additional Recruitment and enrollment events as needed.

Admissions Process Management

  • Oversee the entire admissions lifecycle from inquiry through enrollment.
  • Manage all prospective student records within the admissions database and enrollment management system.
  • Coordinate admissions decisions and acceptance communications.
  • Prepare and distribute acceptance materials and enrollment packets.
  • Collaborate with technology providers to maintain admissions systems and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with school policies.
  • Monitor application completion, including:
    • Applications, Transcripts, Teacher recommendations, Student essays, Placement testing results 

Marketing and Communications

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to ensure consistent messaging and branding throughout all admissions communications.
  • Develop communication plans for prospective families at every stage of the enrollment process.
  • Create and manage admissions-related content for print, email, web, and social media campaigns.
  • Coordinate personalized outreach efforts to prospective students and families.
  • Promote Regina’s mission, academic excellence, student opportunities, and community culture through all recruitment initiatives.

 

Student and Family Engagement

  • Ensure prospective families experience a welcoming, personalized, and mission-centered admissions process.
  • Partner with students, faculty, staff, and parent volunteers to create authentic opportunities for prospective families to experience the Regina community. 
  • Recruit, train, and oversee student ambassadors and admissions volunteers.
  • Support enrollment retention efforts by fostering strong relationships with incoming students and families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Regina High School
  • Demonstrated success in admissions, enrollment management, marketing, communications, sales, education, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic enrollment initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret enrollment data and trends.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for school events and recruitment activities.
