Vaco Staffing is looking for a dedicated, highly organized Administrator to manage the day-to-day administrative operations of a large, local Coordinated Baptist Church. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for church members, visitors, and external partners and plays a key part in supporting the ministry’s mission with professionalism, hospitality, and integrity.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $45,000 annually (based on experience)
Benefits: Full benefits package including Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, and Retirement Plan (5% employer match)
Start Date: Immediate
Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for the church office
Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and greet all visitors and guests
Maintain and coordinate the church’s master calendar, including scheduling key member meetings, events, and services
Update and manage content on the church’s website and monitor all social media platforms
Ensure effective communication between church leadership, staff, and congregation
Maintain and organize church records, correspondence, and documentation
Provide support in the interpretation and implementation of church by-laws
Support internal teams and ministries with scheduling, communication, and planning needs
Draft and edit internal announcements, bulletins, and communications
Assist in coordination of special events, community outreach, and other church programs
Ensure a welcoming, respectful, and faith-centered environment for all visitors and members
Minimum 2 years of administrative or office management experience (non-profit or church setting preferred)
Strong understanding or willingness to learn church by-laws and governance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative writing ability a plus (for newsletters, bulletins, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, website content management, and social media platforms
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Professional, warm, and welcoming demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
