Job Summary

The Administrator in Training (AIT) internship will provide a practical learning experience and emphasize exposure to decision-making at the highest governance within the Nursing Rehab Center. The AIT will successfully participate in designated area rotations with preceptor guidance and through a combination of observation and participation in order to become familiar with all aspects of each activity area, including its purpose, services provided, and the overall understanding on how each area interacts with each other to meet the provisions of care and services.

Required Qualifications

• Require an Associate's degree in Health Care Administration (HCA) or Health Services Administration (HSA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer demonstrated ability to express technical concepts in a clear and concise way.
• Prefer demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prefer demonstrated computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing programs.
• Prefer demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Prefer demonstrated effective presentation, written communication, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prefer previous experience and knowledge of hospital and/or healthcare operations.
