Nature of Work

This position will serve as the Director of the Division of Cash Management under the direction of the Director of the Office of Grants Management. This position is responsible for ensuring the availability of cash for the operation of the numerous programs of the Department of Health, Health Facilities and Human Services and oversight of the agencys compliance with the Federal Cash Management Act and state laws with assistance from a staff of two Accountant/Auditors 4s. This division oversees the cash management function of the Departments by maintaining the cash flow of federal and state funds for various programs. It oversees compliance and coordinates various reports with the State Treasurers Office. It also prepares and submits information for the closing books to the Department of Administrations FARS unit.

Minimum Qualifications

Training: Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with a degree in the area of assignment.

Substitution: Experience as described below may substitute for the training requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Experience: Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative or supervisory experience in the area of assignment.

Special Requirement: A valid drivers license may be required.
