We're looking for an Administrative Program Specialist - Bto join our Forms Management team to assist with the administration of over 1,400 revenue forms!
An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:

Following Policies and Procedures: The ability to follow, reinforce, adapt, or develop policies and procedures to maintain compliance with federal and state legal requirements, State Civil Service rules, and organizational policies.
Making Accurate Judgments: The ability to assess options, weigh risks, and make sound decisions using available information and logical reasoning.
Managing Resources: The ability to manage financial, physical, and contractual resources to ensure compliance and maximize business value.
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR

A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR

An advanced degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties
In this role, you will:
  • Shares responsibility for administering the forms management program, which includes all departmental forms used inside and outside of LDR.
  • Assists Revenue Administrative Program Specialist C with implementation of Forms Management program standards as well as policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the tracking system to monitor the progress of forms during the revision process until they are finalized to ensure that the documents are progressing in a timely manner.
  • Assists in maintaining the forms on the websites.
  • Maintains, organizes, and updates all administrative files and general correspondence employing appropriate security measures required for confidentiality.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

LDR- LA. R.S.15:587.5, 587.6 and the IRS require the Louisiana Department of Revenue ("LDR") to conduct a criminal history records check of a prospective employee who will access federal tax information to perform his job duties. If you are given a conditional offer of employment, a criminal history records check will occur before your first day of work. The check requires submission of your fingerprints that will be run through national and state databases to determine if any criminal offenses are connected to your name.
