The Administrative Professional will perform under the direction of the unit manager and will answer phones, direct calls to appropriate staff, enter client information/data, opens/closes assignments, enters demographic information, generate and print client face sheets, assist with filing in medical record, generate and maintain a daily unit census, and ordering supplies for the unit.


EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
  • Answers phones in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with consumer medical record
  • Enter consumer information into SmartCare
  • Generates and maintain daily unit census
  • Open/close consumer assignments in system when the consumer is admitted/discharged
  • Responds in a timely and professional manner to requests from unit staff
  • Orders and maintains unit supplies
  • Generates/produces requested reports, documents or forms.
Experience and Training

Position requires graduation from an accredited high school or GED, plus one (1) year of work experience in a field related to the duties of the position.

Must have a valid Driver's License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Considerable knowledge of complex clerical procedures and office practices; Agency procedures and policies; rules and regulations concerning work performed; and supervisory techniques.
  • Ability to understand and follow departmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Plan, assign, and coordinate work of subordinates; instruct and train clerical workers.
  • Prepare complex reports; compose correspondence; and establish and maintain good public relations.

Hours: 8am-8pm Thur-Sat, Alternating Wednesday's

Position: 311

Salary: $15.00/hour $31,200/annual
