recruiting for full-time Administrative Operations Manager 2
in Anchorage or Juneau, Alaska
This position is open to Alaska Residents Only.
What You Will Be Doing: The Administrative Operations Manager 2 (AOM2) is part of a dynamic team in the Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS), Office of Children's Services (OCS) Director's Office.
The AOM2 is responsible for direction, oversight, and setting statewide policy, controls, and procedures for the OCS administrative, budgetary, and financial functions. The position is part of the division's senior management team which makes recommendations on goals and policies, regulations, short- and long-range planning, and efficient management of resources. Provide ongoing professional financial and administrative support and consultative services to all OCS central and regional offices. Coordinate responses to legislative inquiries and work with the division's legislative liaison to prepare fiscal notes. Serve on department-wide committees and workgroups related to the development of cross-divisional administrative and programmatic projects.

Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or progressively responsible professional level experience providing administrative support to a business or organization, business administration, public administration, finance, banking, accounting, industrial relations, marketing, human resource management, logistics and supply chain management, or a similar business field.
