POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Nursing Supervisor coordinates and supervises the activities of hospital personnel during the evening, night, weekend, and/or holiday hours. The position supports high-quality patient care and safety through evaluating performance of nursing and ancillary services, facilitating staffing continuously, conducting campus-wide rounds, and responding to all in-house emergency/serious events. This leader position maintains frequent communication with all departments to smooth throughput, reducing barriers. The Administrative Nursing Supervisor supports compliance with hospital policies and procedures, customer experience needs, incident management, and is a liaison for smooth transitions across access points. This role is the Administrative representative on-premises, providing continuity of round-the-clock leadership and safety.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, ensuring clear communication, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license required. Bachelors degree preferred.
License: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey. American Heart Association BLS and ACLS is required upon hire or transfer.
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of nursing experience required with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire. Incumbents within the position will be trained appropriately, and the skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from the date of hire.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position reports to the Director of Nursing Resources.
