JOB DESCRIPTION

Administrative Manager of Teacher Education

Longy School of Music seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized temporary Administrative Manager to support the Master of Music in Music Education (MM/ME) & Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) programs during a paternity leave coverage period (August-November).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage course registration, add/drop, and grading processes in Jenzabar
  • Coordinate student and faculty communications regarding academic timelines
  • Support course setup and troubleshooting in Brightspace
  • Attend weekly cross-functional meetings with marketing and program leadership
  • Assist with coordination of the Changemakers professional development series
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to MM/ME & CAGS programs

Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education administration preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and systems simultaneously
  • Experience with student information systems (Jenzabar, Banner, or similar) preferred
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (Brightspace or similar)
