In this civilian position in Flagstaff, you will join our Administrative Team, as part of the Support Services Division of our agency. This diverse team is made up of 5 Law Enforcement Specialist III's that report to an Administrative Supervisor. Team members collaborate to achieve shared goals. In this role, you have the opportunity to bring your skills in communication, organization, and accuracy to accomplish the many wide-ranging duties of the team. You will receive on the job training, development and the opportunity to work flexible schedules.

Under supervision performs administrative work of moderate difficulty; performs related work as assigned.

Typical Duties

Essential functions of this position include but not limited to: sitting; working with and around others; dealing with interruptions, repetitive motion (hand/wrist/ elbow/ shoulder) for computer work, filing telephones etc.; Vision Acuity (Near) computer work; hearing for communicating with others with phone calls, meetings; speech for telephone and ordinary conversation/ communication; touch for typing, filing, writing and phones.
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience; OR, Associate's degree and three years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience; OR, Bachelors degree and two years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Additional Requirements
Must pass background and polygraph including criminal history. Once in the position, must obtain Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) certification.
The ideal candidate has Administrative and Customer Service Experience, is an excellent team player, eager to learn and
has previous Law Enforcement, Detention, and/or Court experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Admin Experience; Customer Service experience; Data Entry and record management experience; works well on a team; Transcribes from dictation. Great communication skills.
This position is non-exempt from overtime.
This position is safety sensitive.
