Southeastern Louisiana University''s Department of Property Control (Receiving) invites applications for the position of Administrative Coordinator 3. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Receiving Station, including the receipt of shipments into and coming from the Receiving Station, managing the warehouse space, and the delivery of shipments on campus. This position is considered essential when the university is under a state of emergency and may have to work during normal business hours when the university is closed.
This position will drive a forklift to move, unload, and spot freight and other materials to an appropriate location in the Receiving Area.
Current Salary- $13.77 per hour
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES
EXAMS AND LICENSE REQUIRMENTS
No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be able to be certified through the Southeastern Defensive Driving Course
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience or training in administrative services.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
