Description of Work

This position is to support the program staff at the Fayetteville Regional Office which includes the following divisions; Air Quality, Energy, Mineral and Land Resources, Environmental Assistance and Customer Service, Waste Management, Water Resources and the Department of Information Technology Services as necessary to provide the required support to the citizens of North Carolina to ensure the preservation of our environment and natural resources.

This position must adapt to a rapidly changing environment in the regional office due to changes in environmental laws, general statutes, policies, and procedures which affect permitting guidelines and other related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing positive customer service interaction with internal and external customers.

Processing critical and time-sensitive correspondence, processing invoices and contract payments for the division, processing fiscal documents for programs, and compiling reports for program staff and their respective management.

Provide extensive operational, logistical, Inventory, and administrative support to the Fayetteville Regional Office.

Providing team back-up in providing administrative coverage to the front desk and other divisions and programs in the Fayetteville Regional Office.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Recruitment Range: $31,200.00 - $36,000.00

Minimum Education and Experience
