Job Summary: This position serves as the primary assistant to the elementary school principal, handles all building financial matters, and serves to communicate important school information to children, staff, families, and community members. Handles daily work pressures and problem solving, requiring constant attention to a volume of work which must be completed within a limited period of time. Must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities in an environment of constant interruptions. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as administrative assistant to the principal
  • Coordinating the principal''s daily schedule and tracking the principal''s email
  • Provide high-quality customer service at the front desk to families and community

members

  • Completing various financial tasks, including activity account reconciliation, fee

management, reimbursements, check writing, budget requests, and supply ordering

  • Managing crossing guards
  • Collaborating with building administrators with placements for substitute teachers
  • Maintaining student records, including new and existing students
  • Communicating critical school information through Skylerts
  • Assisting with administration to manage front office
  • Supporting assistant principals as needed
  • Assisting with after-school and Elite Falcon Partners programs
  • Serving as the primary summer school secretary
  • Distributing mail as needed
  • Cross-trained for other duties at the front desk, including transportation coordination,

attendance, and health room duties as needed

  • Attend professional development
  • Other duties as assigned
