About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the operations of the Reserve Bank of Australia’s New York Office. This role provides high‑quality administrative, scheduling and coordination support to staff and contributes to the efficient day‑to‑day functioning of the office.

This is a great part-time opportunity for an experienced administration or office support professional who is seeking to join a team that values collaboration, inclusivity and purpose in their work.

The 16 hours per week can be spread across a number of days in the week.

Your role

Reporting to the Office Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to office leadership and staff

  • Managing calendars, meetings and travel arrangements

  • Maintaining accurate records and files in accordance with RBA policies

  • Coordinating office logistics, supplies and facilities matters

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders in Australia and external counterparts in the US

  • Supporting visiting staff, delegations and events as required

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or executive support role

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High levels of discretion and professionalism

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Eligibility to work in the United States

The successful candidate will be adaptable, discreet, and comfortable working in a small, professional environment with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Salary range

The salary range for this role is USD $55,000 - $70,000 (pro-rated at 16 hours per week) annually and will be commensurate with skills and experience.
