JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant

STATUS: Non-exempt, Hourly

You will:
  • Provide clerical support for all ministry events and activities including data entry, filing, faxing, shredding, handling mail, compiling data and producing reports, calendar planning, facility maintenance oversight, event planning, etc.
  • Utilize technology to organize and process the administrative side of ministry. Process data and simplify information in a way that effectively keeps the church admin side organized
  • Assist in creating and updating various reports on Ministry Platform and Microsoft programs
  • Manage all areas of accounting including accounts payable and tracking budgets for specific events
  • Manage petty cash: reconcile petty cash report, complete monthly petty cash report through AvidXchange
  • Manage credit card accounts: enter all credit card expenses in Nexonia along with the corresponding receipts, reconcile credit card statements, submit monthly credit card reports at the end of each month
  • Process reimbursements through Nexonia
  • Enter weekly church attendance reports into MP and Google Drive
  • Inventory office supplies, submit online orders as needed, distribute supplies and store supplies in an organized fashion
  • Answer phone calls; respond to messages and emails in a timely manner
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Provide practical and biblical counsel, encouragement and prayer for phone calls, walk-in's, emails and appointments
  • Utilize technical skills, personal skills, and spiritual maturity to assist with both managerial and ministerial church initiatives
  • Manage the volunteer onboarding process: Fill out EZ forms, set up volunteer interviews, organize trainings, do background checks and onboard new volunteers
  • Help strategize and plan church events
  • Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to accomplish church objectives throughout all our different ministries
  • Attend weekly staff meetings
  • Help with our social media accounts and online ministry
  • Provide oversight and help for the Sunday services, assist with volunteer organization, and provide any support needed
  • Coordinate, train and develop office volunteers
  • Help to set goals and oversee ministries, developing volunteers, and organizing events
  • Assist with the coordination and organization of campus or church-wide events

Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events. Part time (20 hours/week)
