Administrative Assistant (PACE Clinic Scheduler)
Location - Garden Grove, CA
Job Type - Temporary | Full-Time
Pay Range - ($23.92 $33.48/hour) $49,754 $69,655 annually
Shift timing - Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Administrative Assistant (PACE Clinic Scheduler) to support our PACE Clinic operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys coordinating schedules, supporting participants and families, and providing excellent customer service.
The Administrative Assistant will help ensure smooth clinic operations by coordinating specialty appointments, arranging transportation, maintaining records, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Support- Schedule specialty appointments with providers on behalf of participants
- Coordinate transportation services for participants and caregivers
- Communicate with participants and families regarding specialty services
- Provide reception and administrative support as needed
- Maintain and support quality initiatives related to specialty care services
- Document participant interactions in medical records according to workflows
Administrative Support- Coordinate with clinic staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain confidential participant and personnel information
- Support department projects and operational goals
- Report relevant information to the clinical care team
- Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- CPR and First Aid Certification required within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications- Associate degree preferred
- 1+ year of healthcare experience
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
