Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our portfolio of residential properties in the Newport, RI area. You will also support the operations of our Leasing Department. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Responding to applicant inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Generating standard letters, notices, and email communications.
- Entering and updating applicant files and resident data.
- Auditing data for accuracy and completeness, correcting discrepancies as needed.
- Maintaining organized filing systems.
- Assisting with special projects.
- Other administrative duties to support the Property Managers and Leasing Department.
The work hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00. Your workweek will be split between properties in Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, and Tiverton, RI. You will be offered a hybrid work schedule, working from home 2-3 days per week, after the first 6 months of employment.
Your Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.
- Previous administrative experience in an office setting is required; previous experience in property management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; experience with Yardi is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Pay Range: $26-29/hour depending on previous experience.
