Client Overview:
Our client is a creative startup based in New York City that provides best-in-class marketing and advertising, media strategy and purchasing, value and market access services, as well as technology and analytics consulting among its specialized offerings. They are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$24/hr - $28/hr (temporary)
$55k - $65k (permanent)

Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will serve as the go-to person for office coordination, scheduling support, and administrative tasks across departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow in an administrative capacity. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and excited to jump in and learn. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with multiple departments to support daily office operations while ensuring administrative processes run efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
  • Provide general administrative support, including calendar updates, meeting preparation, and scheduling.
  • Maintain office supplies, handle incoming communications, and assist with document management.
  • Help coordinate team events, brainstorming sessions, and internal communications.
  • Support HR, operations, and leadership with ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact for internal staff and external guests.
  • Keep shared drives and project files organized and up to date.
Required Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:
  • 1-2 years of Administrative Assistant, Office Management, or similar experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zoom, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-player mindset.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:
  • Background or coursework in marketing, communications, or media.
  • Experience with Slack, project management tools, or CRM systems.
  • Previous experience in a support role within a creative, agency, or startup environment.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent administrative experience.
