Job Summary
Essential Functions
Provides support to the Office of the General Counsel, helping various attorneys manage workflows, schedules and documentation efficiently. Serves as a key administrative partner to the legal department in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and strategic priorities, coordinating communications, and providing reliable day-to-day operational support.
Compiles data analytics that track attorney productivity.
Triages essential legal issues to the appropriate attorney or compliance personnel in a timely manner.
Reserves conference rooms, as needed.
Composes/prepares correspondence and reports (often of a confidential and time sensitive nature) accurately and in specified timeframes. Assists with processing subpoenas received for subsequent treater depositions and other litigation related activity or other record requests.
Performs data entry, keeps statistical records, manages department database and prepares summary reports of the information. Opens and prepares new matter files. Closes, organizes and files or archives matters as directed. Retrieves closed matters from department closed files or storage site.
Opens billing matters for legal issues being handled by outside counsel and communicates with outside legal counsel as needed.
Provides administrative coordination and support for the Board of Directors Meetings. Administers the Board of Directors database to ensure accuracy, confidentiality and efficient use of its contents. Files Corporate Annual Reports with the Secretary of State. Manage confidential information according to established protocol and regulatory compliance regulations. Exercises sound judgment in handling confidential information on a daily basis.
Assists with routing agreements for legal review and tracking agreements in the Contracts Management System. Assists with training departmental clients on contract routing and Icertis reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2-3 years of college
6-10 years of previous job-related experience
Compensation:
Pay Range: $26.83- $41.59 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
