ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/LOGISTICS SUPPORT - ONSITE

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant / Logistics Coordinator position to support a growing, specialty manufacturer. Manage daily logistics activities and maintain strong working relationships with freight carriers and transportation providers.

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant / Logistics Coordinator position to support a growing, specialty manufacturer. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years of administrative experience with strong communication and organizational skills. An Associates degree is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and shipping records through data entry and reporting in Excel spreadsheets
• Track inbound and outbound inventory, including raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers to ensure timely movement of materials and products
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound and outbound freight traffic
• Coordinate and communicate with truck drivers regarding shipping and receiving procedures, dock assignments, and plant access
• Manage daily logistics activities and maintain strong working relationships with freight carriers and transportation providers
• Update and maintain production data within the company's ERP system (Passport ERP); training will be provided
• Respond to clerical and administrative requests from the Plant Manager 
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support operational, inventory, and logistics processes
• Assist with general administrative duties and special projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

Education Required:

• Associate degree in a related field - Preferred

Experience Required:

• Administrative assistant/clerical experience - 5+ years 
• Microsoft Excel skills - for data collection, Pivot table experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
