The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to church staff and congregation, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
Hours per week: 25.
Reports to: Interim Minister of Congregational Life.
Key responsibilities include assisting with administrative tasks for staff and clergy, managing church communications and emails, updating calendars, preparing worship bulletins, newsletters, and event materials, maintaining accurate records, managing the website, and overseeing office supplies and equipment.
Qualifications include a genuine desire to serve others in Christ's name, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, discretion, office experience, strong organization and time management, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, Squarespace, and other tools, adaptability, and a team-oriented attitude. The role requires confidentiality, attention to detail, and flexibility to support the church’s mission and activities.
