Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. Location

Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of administrative functions on behalf of the department that may include receiving and returning calls, greeting visitors, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, and providing general information to the University and public. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports, prepares agendas and assists with record keeping. Operates various office machines.

Responsibilities

  • Answers phone line, greets visitors, and collates and distributes mail.
  • Schedules appointments, meetings, and reservations.
  • Organizes and maintains files and databases in a confidential manner.
  • Coordinates maintenance of office equipment and orders supplies.
  • Monitors budgets and prepares purchase requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in administrative support.
  • One year of experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with administrative experience.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
