Under the direction of the Vice President Human Resources is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the human resource department, which may include recruitment, employment, personnel records, benefits administration, organization development and training along with payroll processing. This position also gives administrative support to the President/CEO as needed.

Position location - 301 E. Main Street, Carbondale, IL

REQUIREMENTS

  • Two plus years as a Human Resource Assistant or relevant experience in an administrative assistant position
  • Knowledge of labor laws, policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of payroll processing
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
