Administrative Assistant
Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Department: College of Business and Economics and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences
Position Summary
The administrative assistant provides executive support for the deans of the College of Business and Economics and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences; supports the colleges'' daily operations; serves as the colleges'' primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; and provides administrative support to the academic programs within the colleges (CBE: Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing, Project Management, Leadership and Business Administration; CHSS: Philosophy, Religious Studies, History, Modern Languages, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science and Criminal Justice) and their public-facing activities. Experience with office operations, event planning, customer service and social media is strongly preferred.
