Under the general direction of the Deputy Administrative Director or the Administrative Director of the Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC), the Manager II oversees the Administrative and Business Services programs. The Manager II provides high level strategic leadership and oversight to twoSupervisor IIs responsible for Business Systems, Outreach, Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS), Human Resources and Contracts and Procurement. The incumbent is responsible for the most complex policy development, enterprise-wide resource planning, and the integration of automation and administrative initiatives to support the Division-wide operational goals and mission. The incumbent acts as an advisor to the DWC Executive leadership on highly sensitive personnel matters, contracts and procurement, statewide facility operations, budgets, outreach, and technology upgrades.

The incumbent works in a cubicle environment in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control. The incumbent is required to work extensively on the computer as necessary for email communication, research, drafting policy and procedure documents, and other purposes. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Telework will be offered in accordance with current departmental policy.
