University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Surgery is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Organ Transplant Center including coordination of specialized events and activities, appropriateness of expenditures, contract or grant requirements, and changes in policies and procedures.
The UI Department of Surgery is committed to saving lives - and improving our patients' quality of life- through excellent surgical techniques and extraordinary patient care. Our surgeons and medical professionals address a wide variety of complex medical issues, from matching donors with recipients in the Organ Transplant Center to providing continuous care for both adult and pediatric trauma victims in the state's only designated Level I Trauma Center and certified regional Burn Treatment Center. Our specialists provide critical surgical support among comprehensive, multidisciplinary teams for the treatment of cancer, gastrointestinal and colorectal diseases, vascular ailments, as well as advanced surgical care for even the smallest pediatric patients. Skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeons manage complex reconstructive issues resulting from deformities, traumatic injuries, or cancer excision in both adult and pediatric patients, in addition to surgical and non-surgical cosmetic services for adults.
