The Department of Radiology has an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive-level administrative assistant. As a member of our administrative team, the Administrative Assistant to the Director will directly support the Department Chair and leadership.
The ideal candidate for the position will have experience working at the executive level in an academic or medical administrative office. The successful candidate will be able to act independently, with multiple ongoing priorities, and demonstrate exceptional skill at anticipating needs based on existing knowledge. The individual must be detail oriented, an experienced multitasker with a wide variety of technical skills, exceptionally well organized and outgoing. Excellent oral and written communication skills must be demonstrated through application materials and interview. Ability to maintain confidentiality is paramount.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: serving as primary point of contact for the Chair, scheduling and meeting coordination and faculty recruitment interviews, handling Section Meeting Coordination, maintaining calendars and answering phones, coordinating travel; QGenda Scheduling, composing correspondence; managing administrative and clerical data; consolidated electronic tracking of information; development and implementation of administrative processes, procedures and systems; processing payments and reimbursements; and supporting radiology leadership in leading the Department of Radiology.
