Overview:
The School of Nursing Adjunct Faculty, under the supervision of the Program Director, as well as the Academic Coordinator, is responsible for evaluation of the program's academic and clinical components. Working in close association with the Academic and Clinical Faculty, the School of Nursing Adjunct Faculty member is paid per course or lecture assigned to you. This is a non-exempt position.

Responsibilities:
Assist in teaching assignments
Provide student instruction in assigned courses
Develop and evaluate student performance in both the didactic and clinical phase
Some teaching assignments may exist in a courses where the faculty member is not a primary instructor (e.g. labs, OSCEs, clinical year curriculum)
Participate in all aspects of the self-study process.
Counsel and advise students.
Participate in faculty directed activities in order that the program will be an integral part of the university system
Qualifications:
Education:
DNP or PhD
Experience:
At least 5 years of clinical experience
Skills & Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and formal speech
Established leadership and supervisory skills
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Flexible, resilient, and uplifting demeanor
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail and situational awareness
Able to exercise sound judgment
Able to serve and advocate for diverse populations
