Position Title Adjunct Professor of Mathematics Teaching Load Part-time 8 credit hours during the Fall 202 5 Semester Context The Adrian College Mathematics Department announces an adjunct instructor position beginning Fall 2025. The initial appointment will be for one semester renewable based on performance. The department seeks a candidate with a strong desire to teach and an eagerness to work with undergraduate students . Responsibilities The main responsibility is to teach two sections of Math 115 Precalculus for a total of 8 credit hours . The successful candidate will also be required to • Assign work outside the classroom included but not limited to WebAssign. • Report mid -term and final grades within college- specified timelines . • Maintain regular availability to support students . Minimum requirements • Candidates must have earned a Master degree or higher in Mathematics Applied Mathematics or Statis tics by August 2025. • Have demonstrated ability to foster pos itive interactions with diverse populations . • Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of a college classroom environment . Desired Qualifications • Experience teaching math ematics at the college level . • Proficiency using course management software such as BlackBoard .
