Summary: The Department of Teacher Education and Leadership in the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavior Sciences at Alabama A & M University seeks one (1) adjunct faculty members to teach doctoral courses in the program for the Early Childhood/ Elementary Education specialization. The PHD program courses are offered synchronous and asynchronous delivery platforms. Interested candidates should submit credentials for evaluation. Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach up to 6 semester hours of graduate courses per semester
Design courses for online delivery
Evaluate students' performance in all courses taught
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):
A terminal degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Curriculum and Instruction with cognate or a terminal degree in Education Administration..
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience at the college level, preferably in the graduate school or college of professional studies.
Evidence of scholarship in the form of research articles, books, etc.

Ability to interpret research data
Knowledge of the use of Analytics
Ability to use Blackboard Collaborate Ultra instructional delivery platform
