Position Summary
Delaware County Community College (DCCC), Allied Health & Nursing department located outside of the Philadelphia Metro area, is looking for talented and dedicated Adjunct Nursing Instructors to join our team of faculty who are committed to student success. Adjunct Nursing Instructors will have an opportunity to teach clinical at various clinical sites.
Recent nursing clinical experience in ICU, Medical/Surgical, or Obstetric required. Candidates must be enrolled in a Master's in Nursing program (MSN) or have their MSN degree.
Essential Functions
Responsibilities include teaching clinical and simulation lab courses in nursing concepts. Other responsibilities will include orientation to the clinical facility, preparation time and completion of paperwork for clinical and students. Faculty members are expected to provide high quality instruction and to implement assessment as necessary based on department requirements.
Mentoring support will be provided for individuals new to clinical nursing education. Day and evening assignments are available.
