Job Description Summary
Instruction of Yoga I and/or Yoga II courses. Topics include proper breathing, relaxation techniques, and correct body positions.
Duties
1. Use Moodle or current learning management system to conduct the course.
2. Teach courses in 8 or 16-week terms using diverse teaching methods.
3. Maintain records for attendance, submit grades, and stay current with planned course outcomes and assignments.
4. Attend college and/or departmental functions as needed.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Health or Physical Education or related field.
2. Current Yoga Instructor Certificate-200 hour.
3. Current Adult First Aid and CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Physical Education.
2. College teaching experience
