We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to teach courses in a tribal community college setting. The Adjunct Instructor supports the T-So:son (Our Core Values). What You Will Do: As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students. Essential duties include: - Instruct students in a classroom setting in an assigned area of responsibility.
- Teaching assignments may include evening classes, hybrid, and online formats.
- Develop course syllabus; plan, teach, observe; grade assignments, and evaluate overall student performance.
- Facilitate study sessions and workshops with students.
- Participate in the development of applicable instructional materials, exams, workshops, tutorials, and support items.
- Conduct research of new programs, educational philosophies, and maintain current knowledge of the discipline.
- Develop, implement, and integrate Tohono O’odham culture in the curriculum.
- May assist in the preparation of schedules and course offerings.
