### POSITION OVERVIEW JOB SUMMARY: The Department of Movement Sciences and Health is seeking qualified part-time adjunct instructors to teach in the following fields:
The college is building a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis.
### MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Holds at least the masters degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure.
### POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Doctorate or Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization and qualified to perform assigned duties.
### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Masters or doctorate degree in an appropriate field of specialization or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will be flexible and creative with experience teaching in both face-to-face and online learning environments. Certifications/licenses such as Athletic Training, CSCS, ACSM, CHES, or physical education teacher may be required depending on the course(s) taught.
### Special Requirements or Considerations of the Job This position requires a criminal background screen.
