Title Adjunct Instructor of Biology Department Department of Biology Description The Adrian College Biology Department invites applications for adjunct instructor position with responsibilities to teach starting in the beginning of January 2025 . Specific teaching responsibilities will include Microbiology and labs. Twenty students are currently enrolled in lecture for M W and F at 100- 150pm and 2 lab sections on T from 1000 -1150am and 100- 250pm. Adrian College is a small liberal arts college with faculty opportunities to engage in research projects with students. The successful candidate should be able to develop microbiology- related field and lab projects with students. Minimum Qualifications • A PhD in a Biological field is p referred. Highly qualified candidates who have a Masters degree or are all but dissertation will be considered. Desired Qualifications • Preference will be given to candidates with previous highe r education teaching experience and experience in the field. • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong time management and organizational skills.
