Adjunct Job Announcement Position: Medical Assisting Adjunct Instructor Location: Athens Campus Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety Reports to: Program Chair for Medical Assisting & Divisional Academic Dean

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits. Deadline to Apply: March 11, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities: • Maintain familiarity with college goals, mission, and long-term plans. • Contribute to planning and development processes. • Participate in recruitment and retention of students in both programs. • Attend required staff meetings and serve on staff committees. • Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media. • Regularly evaluate student achievement and provide student feedback. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: • Associates degree in Education or a closely related field. • Displays oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills. • Instructional experience in Medical Assisting courses. • Experience with oversight of Medical Assistants in administrative and clinical skills settings.

Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Education. • Experience in a TCSG institution. • Experience scheduling multiple students in extern medical practices. • Experience using BlackBoard or instructional technology course delivery. • Teaching in multiple platforms, such as online and/or hybrid.
