The Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for teaching advanced manufacturing courses and the Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification program to high school and postsecondary adult learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced manufacturing processes, including automation, robotics, and quality control, and will be able to teach these concepts effectively to students aiming for careers in manufacturing. In addition to delivering the curriculum, the instructor will mentor students, helping them prepare for the CPT exam and industry employment.

Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or its equivalent
Two years of full-time or equivalent teaching experience in a high school, postsecondary, technical training environment or equivalent training experience in a corporate, industrial, or workforce development environment.
Experience with instructional technology, instructional design, and curriculum development. \u2022 Certification or equivalent experience as a Certified Production Technician (CPT).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and mentor students.
Preferred Qualifications
1,. Associate degree
Three years of full-time or equivalent teaching experience in a postsecondary, technical training environment or equivalent training experience in a corporate, industrial, or workforce development environment.
Experience with designing and developing training or educational curriculum.
Holds one or more of the following certifications: OSHA, First Aid and CPR, Certified Production Technician, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Electrical Journeyman card or license, Hazwoper 40 Hour certification, Siemens Automation Educator, Welding.
Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.
