Summary:
The Department of Teacher Education and Leadership in the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavior Sciences at Alabama A & M University seeks one (1) adjunct faculty member to teach courses in the program for Instructional Leadership. The M.Ed. Instructional Leadership program courses are offered asynchronous delivery platforms. Interested candidates should submit credentials for evaluation.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach up to 9 semester hours of graduate courses per semester
- Design courses for online delivery
- Evaluate students' performance in all courses taught
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.): - A terminal degree in Instructional Leadership.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience at the college level.
- Design course for online delivery. Evaluate students' performance in all courses taught.
Supplemental Information
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of graduate level content in the specializations mentioned above
- Ability to interpret research data
- Knowledge of the use of Analytics
- Ability to use Blackboard Collaborate Ultra instructional delivery platform
- Ability to deliver instructions online in the synchronous, asynchronous or hybrid modalities
